Ishtiak Siddique is a Senior Procurement Specialist of the World Bank. He is deeply passionate about how procurement reforms with disruptive technologies can be leveraged to enhance public service delivery. He has significant contributions in Bangladesh public procurement reforms specifically focusing electronic government procurement (e-GP) system including contract management facility and procurement performance measurement through data analytics. He is leading analytical activities - Bangladesh public procurement system assessment following the Methodology for Assessing Procurement Systems (MAPS) and e-GP impact evaluation. He is also supporting other countries in procurement reforms and analytical works. Prior to joining the Bank in 2012, he worked in the energy sector and in the academia. Ishtiak is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK. He has two Masters in Procurement and Business Administration, and a graduation in Civil Engineering.
