Ivan Dharma Bruce is an urban resilience and disaster risk management consultant supporting various lending operations in West Africa for the World Bank's Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience, and Land Global Practice. He provides task teams and clients with technical assistance on subjects related to flood risk and disaster risk management, urban resilience, urban planning, infrastructure development and citizen engagement. Joining the World Bank in 2012 supporting the Communication for Climate Change Multi-Donor Trust Fund known as Connect4Climate, where he focused on sustainable urban development and climate change such as curating a five-day event in Milan Design Week. Prior to joining the World Bank, Bruce worked in an architecture practice in London. He holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Sustainable Urban Design.
