Izza Farrakh is a Senior Education Specialist in the South Asia region at the World Bank, where she works on strengthening institutions for service delivery, with a special focus on education equity and quality. Before joining the World Bank, Izza worked as the Head of Pakistan for the global advisory firm Adam Smith International, and also with Save the Children, Research Triangle Institute and American Institutes for Research. Izza has a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a Bachelor’s in Economics and English from the University of Virginia.
