Jade Salhab is a senior private sector development specialist at the World Bank; based in Tunisia since 2012. Jade has thirteen years of experience promoting innovative public policies at local and national levels, in Europe and the MENA region. In Tunisia, he has been facilitating cluster specific public private dialogues in a wide range of sectors such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, and agribusiness, promoting a bottom-up approach to policymaking and development, with a strong focus on integrating SMEs and smallholder farmers in global markets. He also leads multi-sectoral World Bank investment projects and policy initiatives aimed at strengthening competitiveness and trade. Jade is a Lebanese and Belgian national, and holds a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master in Urban Environment and Sustainable Development form the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, and a Bachelor in Architecture form the American University of Beirut.
