Jael Billy is an expert in corporate governance and audit who works currently as a consultant for the World Bank on a range of governance and financial management assignments. Between 2017 and 2019, she was an Audit Specialist in the Bank’s Internal Audit Department. She also worked as a Policy Analyst in the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development between 2019 and 2021. She is a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, with nine years’ experience in external and internal audit in the Financial Services industry. Jael recently completed a volunteer placement in Kenema, Sierra Leone working with a local women’s development organization to build capacity in financial management.
