JANE PARK is a Consultant with the Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice of the World Bank, where her work is currently focused on the East Asia and Pacific as well as Europe and Central Asia regions. Since joining the Bank in 2016, Jane has contributed to analytical pieces of various projects, including the recently-published Latin American and Caribbean Flagship Report, Raising the Bar for Productive Cities in Latin America and the Caribbean, and a Flagship report on urbanization in Indonesia that is expected to be launched in April 2019. She is also a co-author of the Bank’s report Magnet cities: Migration and Commuting in Romania. Jane is a native Korean and holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the George Washington University, where she researched how to improve efficiency in the project delivery process. Prior to her doctoral study, she obtained an M.A. in Urban Planning from Yonsei University, South Korea, with the concentration in geospatial data analysis.
