Japhet Osuji is a medical doctor and graduate student in the Master of Global Human Development Program at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Prior to arriving at Georgetown, he completed medical school in Ukraine and practiced clinical medicine in Nigeria, where he worked across hospital settings and served patients navigating the intersection of poverty, limited healthcare access, and preventable disease. Currently, he is studying development policy and health systems, with a focus on behavioral dimensions of poverty and health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries.
