Jasmine Susanna Tillu is an urban development consultant with the Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice of the World Bank. She is currently working on operational and analytical projects related to transit-oriented development, urban regeneration, and resilience in cities and towns. Prior to the World Bank, she led the M&E of various planning projects across China and policy analysis reporting to funders at Energy Foundation, and helped multinational companies achieve their sustainability goals at a boutique consulting firm. Social cohesion, mobility, and building a sense of place are some of the questions that plague her on her daily bike commute along Beijing’s ring roads. She holds a BA in international relations and anthropology from Mount Holyoke College and an MCP (Master in City Planning) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
