Jaya Sharma is a World Bank Senior Social Development Specialist for Nepal. She has over two decades of technical expertise in the field of gender, social development and gender equality and social inclusion (GESI). She has provided technical guidance to government and line agencies in undertaking GESI policy formulation, GESI operational strategies and action plans. Jaya is also a recognized trainer in GESI sensitization and capacity building. She holds an MA in Gender and Development from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
