Jean Arlet is a Private Sector Specialist in the East Africa region for the Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice of the World Bank. His research and advisory work focus on competitiveness, business regulation, entrepreneurship, reform governance and access to energy. Previously, at the World Bank, Jean worked for the global Investment Climate team, as well as the Office of the Chief Economist. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, a master’s in finance from Sciences Po Paris, and a B.A. degree in Economics from McGill.
