Jean-Martin Brault is a Senior Water and Sanitation Specialist in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Region of the World Bank´s Water Global Practice, with more than 15 years of experience supporting and leading lending operations, analytical and advisory services and engineering consultancies in LAC (Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Brazil), in West Africa (Benin) and in the Middle East and North Africa (Morocco, Tunisia and Palestine). Jean-Martin holds a PhD in wastewater engineering from Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, Canada, and is currently focusing on wastewater treatment and reuse, fecal sludge management and Citywide Inclusive Sanitation, “smart” water management, as well as well as digitalization and innovation.
