Jeanne Coulibaly joined the World Bank Group in 2018 and currently serves as Senior Agriculture Economist in the Global Agriculture and Food Practice for West and Central Africa. She leads and contributes to relevant operations and analytics on food system, forest and climate related issues, to enhance sustainable agricultural growth in Côte d'Ivoire and the region. Her current operations focus on the development of inclusive, resilient, and competitive agri-food value chains. Prior to joining the Bank, Jeanne worked at the World Agroforestry Center and AfricaRice in Benin where she conducted several operations and research in agroforestry and rice policy. She holds a PhD from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. USA and has published extensively on Agrifood systems, agricultural trade policy, agroforestry, and climate.
