Jens Kromann Kristensen is a Practice Manager in the Middle East and North Africa Region where he oversees the World Bank programs on governance and institutions as well as fiduciary assurance of the World Bank’s lending portfolio in the region. He has an extensive experience in public sector governance including from his previous role as Head of the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) Secretariat, his work at the Danish Ministry of Finance, OECD, KPMG and the World Bank Regional Departments in East Asia & the Pacific, Europe & Central Asia and East & West Africa. He has worked on public sector reforms in low, middle and high income countries as well as fragile and conflict-affected states.
