Jescinta Isimeme Izevbigie joined the World Bank Social Sustainability and Inclusion Team in September 2021 as a Young Professional. She is a gender and social impact specialist with nine years of experience in gender equality, social impact, economic inclusion, and programmatic operations across emerging markets in the Caribbean, sub-Saharan Africa, and south Asia. Jescinta has a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a Master of Science in Gender, Development, and Globalization from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
