Jesse Harber is an institutional political economist of transport and urban governance. He is currently a PhD researcher at SOAS University of London, and previously worked for the Gauteng City-Region Observatory and the South African National Treasury’s Cities Support Programme and Government Technical Advisory Centre. In 2021 he was a WBG-Africa Fellow in the World Bank’s Transport Global Practice.
