Jessica Goldberg is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland, an Affiliate of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, and a Non Resident Fellow at the Center for Global Development. Her research focuses on the ways people in developing countries earn, spend, and save money. She is particularly interested in how financial market imperfections, behavioral factors, and other obstacles to borrowing and saving affect decisions about working and consuming. Goldberg holds a Ph.D. from University of Michigan.
