Jessica Jean-Francois is a Vice President at ideas42 currently working on international programs. Prior to joining ideas42, Jessica was on a team at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative overseeing the external evaluation of a 3-year program implemented in 10 countries aimed at strengthening local capacity to prepare for and respond to disasters and emergencies. Jessica has managed research projects on humanitarian response and international development in Latin America, Africa and Asia and overseen education, healthcare, journalism and economic development programs in Haiti and the United States. She holds a Master’s in Urban Planning from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, a Master’s in Education from Lehman College and a Bachelor in Economics from The George Washington University.
