Jesus Cervantes is coordinator of the real sector and of the Remittances Forum at CEMLA. Such Forum coordinates the activities that CEMLA carries on together with central Banks of Latin American and Caribbean countries in the field of remittances. Prior to joining CEMLA, he worked at Banco de México (the central bank) for 33 years. He has a BA in Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, México and a Master Degree in Economics from El Colegio de México. He also holds a Master Degree in Economics and is a PhD Candidate at the University of Chicago.
