Jewelwayne Cain has been a consultant with the Health, Nutrition, and Population Global Practice of the World Bank based in Washington, DC since 2016. An economist by trade, his work focuses on the intersection of quantitative methods, health economics, and health policy. Before joining the World Bank, he has had experience in academia, other international organizations, and government working in areas related to economic development, poverty, and inequality in country-level, regional, and national settings. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Missouri.
