Jibon William Gomes is a disability activist from Bangladesh and personally lives with cerebral palsy. He is a World Bank consultant and the Executive Director of Turning Point Foundation, a leading Disabled Peoples Organisation (DPO), working on major two areas: Capacity Building and Advocacy. He mainly works for promoting Disability Inclusion in Development and Organizational Capacity Development. Before, he worked with Abilis Foundation, Handicap International, Caritas Bangladesh, ADD International and SARPV. He is a member of the government-led National Monitoring Committee, formed in accordance with the Convention of Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). He has obtained Master of Development Studies (MDS) and Master of Science (MSc) in Psychology.
