Jing Zhao is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at the World Bank, a financial economist by training and a capital markets professional. She leads, coordinates, and supports multiple World Bank programs, as program task team leader or technical lead, in member country engagement and in global knowledge, and has worked in the frontline of financial policy and reforms, capital markets development, and long-term finance mobilization including through Financial Sector Assessment Programs (FSAPs), technical assistance programs, and World Bank financing operations. Prior to joining the World Bank, she had extensive private sector experience in financial sector and capital markets. Jing holds a degree of Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard Kennedy School, a degree of Master in Finance from Guanghua School of Management at Peking University. She is also a CFA® charterholder at the CFA Institute.
