Jingjie Chu is a Natural Resource Economist in Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice. She joined the World Bank in 2009 as a Young Professional. Her main expertise is on fisheries and aquaculture economics and policy. Currently, she is in charge of West Africa Regional Fisheries Project-Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia. She has also been involved in both operational and analytical works in Mozambique, Seychelles, Kenya, Tanzania, Cape Verde, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, and Pacific Islands. She holds a Ph.D. in Environment and Natural Resource Economics from University of Rhode Island, USA and a Master in Environmental Economics and Policy from Peking University, China.
