Joaquín Marandino Peregalli

Joaquín Marandino is a Consultant with the World Bank’s Economic Policy team for Eastern and Southern Africa. He works on macroeconomic monitoring and forecasting, and advisory services and analytics, while also supporting lending operations for the Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe Country Team. Prior to joining the World Bank, Joaquín worked in macroeconomic consulting in Uruguay, conducted research for institutions including the University of Chicago and the London School of Economics, and lectured in Economics at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Argentina. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the London School of Economics, completed graduate studies in Economics at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and earned a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College in the United States.
