Jochen Kluve is Professor of Empirical Labor Economics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Head of the Berlin Office of RWI, an economics think tank. He studied economics in Heidelberg, Amsterdam and Dublin, and worked as lecturer and post-doctoral researcher at UC Berkeley. Jochen Kluve has worked extensively on the evaluation of Active Labor Market Programs, as well as other topics in labor policy and methodological issues in impact evaluation. He has provided expertise to, inter alia, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the European Commission. His research has been published e.g. in the Economic Journal, Labour Economics, and the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series A).
