Joël Cariolle is a Research Officer at the Foundation for studies and research on international development (Ferdi), and Associate Researcher at the CERDI-University Clermont-Auvergne. His current research is focused primarily on the digitalization process and its consequences on economic development, from the macro and micro perspectives. He has also conducted research on economic vulnerability in Least Developed Countries, regional integration in sub-Saharan African countries, and corruption prevalence in both developed and developing economies.
