Johanne Buba is a Senior Economist in the Jobs Group at the World Bank Group. She has operational and analytical experience in the MENA region and in Sub-Saharan Africa. She has designed and implemented lending projects that focus on jobs, private sector development, value chains and microenterprises. Her research includes firm-level analyses and impact evaluations on firm productivity and growth. Johanne holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and a Master’s degree in Engineering.
