John Clayton is a current first-year MBA student at the Harvard Business School. Prior to Harvard, he served as the Special Assistant to the Vice President of Sustainable Development at the World Bank, working on a portfolio that included urban development issues. He also worked as a research analyst in the World Bank’s Africa department, and has additional experience in the brownfield redevelopment sector. John received a degree in Economics and Chinese from Wake Forest University in 2009, where he focused in particular on urban development in China. John’s principle interests lie in urban planning in emerging markets and mixed-use developments.
