Johnson is a project finance and PPP professional with practical experience in the implementation of large infrastructure projects in East Africa. He is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Lean Africa Consultants Limited, a project finance and PPP advisory firm in Kenya. He also founded the Africa Project Finance Program that identifies and nurtures the future infrastructure finance leaders for Africa.
Johnson is also the Founder of the Miundo Misingi Hub, an infrastructure Hub based in Kenya that is building an ecosystem that supports the origination and development of infrastructure project proposals that can be financed and implemented by local players.
Johnson holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Finance from Middlesex University, London, and a First-Class Honors Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting from Strathmore University in Kenya. He is a Certified PPP Professional and a Public Accountant of Kenya. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the World Association of PPP Professionals (WAPPP).
