Jonathan Dolan specializes in digital inclusion, data governance, and a trusted internet. He leads Future State’s research efforts and works with a consortium of partners to better understand how we can collectively support the learning needs of policy makers whose values are aligned with the principles of participation, agency, choice, and trust in the digital world. Jonathan was a 2019 non-resident fellow in New America's Cybersecurity Initiative. From 2014-2018, he led USAID’s Digital Inclusion team. In this capacity, he served as a member of the Alliance for Affordable Internet's Advisory Council and a member of the Steering Committee for the World Economic Forum's Internet for All project. Prior to USAID, he worked at the International Finance Corporation. Jonathan holds a MS from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and a BA from Bowdoin College.
