Jonathan Grabinsky is a specialist with several years of work experience in research, policy, and journalism, as well as capacity in managing large-scale development operations. Chief editor and co-author involved in helping write several analytical pieces and publications for the World Bank, The Brookings Institution, as well as publications in several academic journals and news outlets. He also teaches Social Sciences in the Tecnológico de Monterrey University.

He has worked across numerous World Bank Global Practices, including Water and Sanitation, Poverty and Social Sustainability and Inclusion. Regional experience includes Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South Asia. He has ample experience working with governments and with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including helping design and implement household surveys and conducting impact evaluations. Before the World Bank, he worked researching issues of urban and social policy for the Brookings Institution.
