Joo Sueb Lee has been working for the Ministry of Economy and Finance(MOEF) of South Korea since 1998. He was also a Senior Economist at the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation (FCI) Global Practice of the East Asia and Pacific unit of the World Bank. Before joining the World Bank, he worked in various fields of economic policy coordination and structural reforms in the MOEF, including industrial policies, innovation, entrepreneurial ecosystem development, regulatory reform, job creation, treasury bonds, capital market promotion, trade policies, international finance, etc. He also worked at the Global Green Growth Institute(GGGI) between 2010 and 2013, where he led various knowledge-sharing and capacity-building programs with developing partner countries related to tackling climate change and achieving carbon-free policy goals. He holds Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University and Seoul National University (SNU).
