An economist with an MA degree in Development Economics. Broad based experience in agricultural and rural investment projects and policy planning as well as on sectoral analysis.
Extensive professional experience in progressively responsible positions, providing technical and managerial capacity to government bodies, international development agencies and private enterprises, as working at the Investment Centre of FAO as Senior Economist and as consultant for World Bank, IFAD and private sector organizations.
Field work experience in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa, including many missions and field positions as Chief Technical Adviser in three technical assistance projects -Honduras, Bolivia and Regional Latin America- and FAO Representative a.i. in Honduras.
