Jose has over 12 years of professional experience in working in development economics research including work with the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the International Labour Organization, and the Iris Research Center at the University of Maryland. He specializes in development economics and applied micro econometrics. His research has focused on development economics topics including labor market participation and youth employment, transport infrastructure, and access to formal financial services. He holds MA and MPhil degrees in economics from the George Washington University.
