Juan Pablo Celis

Juan Pablo is responsible for the macroeconomic and growth diagnostics for the LAC region with a special focus on the Andean countries. He also advises on private sector development issues. In this capacity, he contributes to IFC operations and to the country engagement cycle of the World Bank Group.

Prior to joining IFC, Juan Pablo worked for the Colombian Ministry of Finance and Fedesarrollo, a top Latin American think tank. He has a master’s degree in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University (New York) and holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá).
