Julian Koschorke is a Social Protection Specialist in the Social Protection & Jobs Global Practice at the World Bank where he works on social safety nets, social protection delivery systems and youth employment in West Africa. He leads the implementation of the West Africa Unique Identification for Regional Integration and Inclusion (WURI) project in Burkina Faso, which aims to provide proof of unique identity to everyone in the country. Prior to joining the World Bank, Julian has held positions advising the governments of Liberia and Malawi in various subject areas. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics.
