Juliana Guaqueta Ospina is an Education Specialist at the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group where she advises on education investments in emerging markets, working closely with investment teams. Juliana’s current focus is on Latin American and US enterprises that help improve learning outcomes for children, bridge skills gaps for young adults, and leverage technology for efficiency gains. Prior to joining IFC, Juliana worked at the World Bank where she co-authored publications on the Role and Impact of Public-Private Partnerships in Education and System-Wide Quality Assurance in Education, among others. She also participated in the formulation of the World Bank Group Education Strategy 2020: Learning for All; conducted education policy reviews for the governments of the Philippines, Bulgaria and Jordan; and delivered recommendations to improve accountability and education outcomes by adapting international best practices. Juliana has a Master’s degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University and a Bachelors in Finance and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
