Julie Barbet-Gros is a consultant with the World Bank’s Poverty Reduction and Economic Management (PREM) group in Washington DC. She is working on policies and issues related to commodity markets, price shocks and vulnerability in the energy and agricultural sectors. Prior to joining the Bank, she was working within the European Affairs business line of a management consulting firm, on technology and innovation related projects. She also completed various internships with international organizations, such as the World Trade Organization. She holds a Master’s Degree from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
