Senior Energy Specialist

Juliette is a Senior Energy Specialist at the World Bank, leading energy engagement in Burundi. Since she joined the World Bank in 2015, she has been working on both energy operations and analytics at the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) and Africa West Energy & Extractives. At ESMAP, her work focused on electricity access, especially on productive uses of electricity. Juliette has also been supporting energy portfolios, mostly in fragile, conflict, and violence (FCV) settings (i.e. Haiti, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Liberia). Before joining the World Bank, Juliette worked for international consulting firms on PPPs and energy infrastructure development.

She holds master's degrees in public policy from Sciences Po Lille (France) and in project management from ESCP Europe business school (France). During her free time, Juliette likes to cook and hike in the hills of Burundi.
