Julio César Casma is an Online Communications Producer for the World Bank in Latin America and the Caribbean. Based in Lima, Peru, he is responsible for the digital strategy of four countries (Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru). He also actively participates in high-level visits, produces multimedia content and provides digital communication workshops to government ministries and agencies of the United Nations throughout the region in an effort to transmit information on sustainable growth and poverty reduction in Latin America.
Julio César holds a licentiate’s degree in communications from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and is earning his master’s degree in digital marketing from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. He has taken English and Communication courses at the University of British Columbia, Canada, and courses in photography and visual aesthetics in New York. He has worked at the World Bank since 2012, initially as a Junior Professional Associate.
