Julius Wamey is currently a writer and editor with the Solutions Design and Implementation unit (IMTSI) of IMT. Over the past decade he has been editor of the Bank’s Intranet homepage, and was the pioneer editor of key internal communications initiatives. He also edited the World Bank Weekly Update, an external Bank newsletter with more than 60,000 subscribers worldwide. Prior to joining the Bank, Julius was a reporter/writer for various publications and news organizations, including the Los Angeles Times Washington Bureau, CNN International and the BBC. A Cameroon national, he has a BA in journalism from Yaounde University and an MA in international journalism from American University in Washington D.C.
