Jungwon Kim joined Women, Business and the Law in June 2021. She holds a M.A. in International Economic Policy at Sciences Po, Paris School of International Affairs. Her research interests lie in promoting financial inclusion in developing countries with a focus on women’s economic empowerment. Prior to joining the Women, Business and the Law team, she worked as a research intern at the Center for Transnational Migration and Social Inclusion in Seoul National University, where she investigated the impact of COVID-19 on childcare to provide policy analysis. Jungwon also holds a BA in Economics and Sociology from Sciences Po. She is a native Korean speaker, fluent in Japanese, and proficient in French.
