Juni Tingting Zhu is a senior economist at the World Bank Group. She serves as a technical lead in digital business ecosystem, entrepreneurship, and innovation-driven growth topics. Her recent practice covers new knowledge on the industrial organization of platform-based and data-driven businesses, including those in the creative industries and e-commerce. Her scope of work is global and has field experience in implementing investment projects and reforms in Africa, Middle East, South, Southeast, and Central Asia. Her publications in peer reviewed journals are in the areas of economic geography and econometrics. She holds graduate degrees from the Johns Hopkins University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She started her career in the finance sector in Hong Kong before joining the World Bank Group.
