Dr. Jutta Krahn is a Consultant working as a Senior Nutrition Specialist at the World Bank. She is based in Lao PDR where she did her PhD and spent two years in very remote mountain villages. For more than 10 years she has been advising the Bank’s operations and analytical work on nutrition, NCDs, and gender in EAP. She also worked 10 years for the private sector as well as for the UN, NGOs always seeing good nutrition is a building stock of human capital and powerful tool in poverty reduction. Continuously looking for innovations in nutrition is also applied at her own cooking pot at home.
