Kakhaberi Mdivani is a Climate Budgeting Consultant for the World Bank based in Tbilisi, Georgia. His areas of expertise include GHG emission inventories' compilation, emissions modelling, and policy analysis at the national and sub-national levels by identifying opportunities for low-carbon pathways and climate resilience. Before joining the World Bank, he served as Head of Climate Change Division at the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Georgia. On the roster of experts of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Kakhaberi serves as qualified lead reviewer and technical expert reviewer for national GHG inventories, national communications (NC) and biennial reports (BR) and Biennial Update Reports (BUR) submitted to the UNFCCC. He holds an MSc from the University of Twente.
