Kalikeka Malate is a Civil and Environmental Engineer with 13 years of experience in the Water Supply, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector in Zambia. He has also over seven years of experience in the management of water and sanitation projects financed by international financial institutions.
Kalikeka has experience in the coordination, management, and supervision of projects in sanitary engineering for both onsite and offsite systems. As a team leader, he played a key role in the implementation and achievement of objectives of the Lusaka Sanitation Program financed by the World Bank, which aimed at increasing access to sanitation for residents in Lusaka and strengthening the capacity of Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company to manage sanitation services.
Kalikeka holds a Bachelor Engineering Degree in civil and environmental engineering, and a Master of Engineering Degree in construction management, both from the University of Zambia.
