Ms. Kalpana Seethepalli is a Senior Infrastructure Economist with the World Bank Group in Singapore, and has advised emerging market governments on infrastructure Public-Private Partnership (PPP) investment policy and transaction preparation for the last 15 years. She manages complex World Bank infrastructure finance lending and guarantee operations, municipal finance engagements, and has conducted extensive policy research on infrastructure privatization, regulation, and fiscal framework modeling for PPP programs. She is advisor to the G20 and other global fora on private infrastructure financing, and led the World Bank’s dialogue with APEC and ASEAN, as well as key Singapore partners, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Singapore Exchange, and the Singapore International Mediation Center. Ms. Seethepalli holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management & Public Policy from the George Washington University, specializing in risk-mitigating strategies in emerging market PPPs. She also has an MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
