Kanchan Parmar is a Social Development Specialist with the World Bank. Based in New Delhi, she works on a range of issues dealing with reducing inequality and exclusion in human development and infrastructure sectors at the World Bank. Across sectors, she works with teams on meaningfully integrating gender interventions in Bank-financed operations, advising government counterparts on implementing the Environment and Social Framework, and building effective mechanisms to engage with stakeholders.
Prior to working with the Bank, Kanchan worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in driving thought leaderships on business strategy and industry issues. She holds a Masters in Economics degree from the University of Mumbai, India.
