Karen Sirker, Gender Specialist Consultant with the Caribbean Resilience Facility. Ms. Sirker worked at the World Bank as a social development specialist for over twenty years, managing programs on gender equality in disasters and conflict, social accountability, sustainable leadership for climate change, and community-driven development in the South and East Asia and Africa regions. Ms. Sirker has co-authored a number of publications on gender equality, social accountability, involuntary settlement and indigenous peoples programs.
