Karine Bachongy is a Principal Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and is the Health and Education lead for IFC’s PPP Transaction Advisory Services. Accredited Hospital Director in France, Karine has worked for more than 20 years in the fields of hospital management, healthcare investment, and pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining IFC in 2013, Mrs. Bachongy held director roles in public and PPP hospitals in Europe and the Middle East, as well as in the healthcare Industry. She holds an Executive MBA with distinction from London Business School, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Management from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique, as well as a master’s in Macroeconomics and Politics from Sciences Po Paris.
