Since joining the World Bank Group Katerina Leris has worked in the Economic Policy and Debt Department and is currently in the Global Indicators and Analysis Department within the Financial and Private Sector Development Vice Presidency. Katerina joined the subnational Doing Business team in 2008 and is working on projects in the Middle East, East Asia and the Pacific and South Asia regions. Katerina began her career in commercial law in London and Athens. She holds a law degree from Kent University in the United Kingdom, a Legal Practice Course from the Inns of Court School of Law, and an LLM in international trade and commercial law from University College London. She is admitted to the New York Bar.
